UN peacekeepers patrol in Bangui, capital of the Central African Republic, where presidential and legislative elections are due to be held this weekend. Citizens will also be voting this Sunday in Niger, where winning the election will be only the start of the next president’s challenges. Problems include insecurity, poverty and corruption.
