Arctic sea ice hits new low making the future of the Arctic unpredictable

Scientists said the vast and ancient ice sheet sitting atop Greenland shed a 113 square kilometer (approx. 44 square miles) chunk of ice last month.
The slushy layer opens a host of new questions for scientists who say the future of the Arctic is unclear.
