Armoured vehicles in the streets of Senegalese capital as opposition leader appears in court

Senegal has deployed armoured cars in the capital Dakar after days of deadly protests, as supporters of detained opposition leader Ousmane Sonko held fresh demonstrations. A judge has ordered Sonko's release, though he has been formally charged with rape. He says the charges are politically motivated.
