As Kabul falls, backlash against President Biden grow

The lightning advance of the Taliban in retaking Afghanistan has led Afghan Americans, former generals and leading statesmen to blame President Joe Biden for a hasty US withdrawal.
To his critics, the president's decision to wind down America's longest conflict has undone 20 years of sacrifice, paved the way for a humanitarian catastrophe and called into question US credibility.
But Biden appears to have the public on his side - for now.
As recently as last month, an overwhelming majority of Americans - 70% or more - supported Mr Biden's withdrawal, according to polls.
