Asylum plans split Home office

Sky, 17 Apr 2022

Priti Patel this week signed a deal with the East African country to fly some people who illegally arrive in the UK there to seek asylum instead.

The Home Secretary was forced to personally intervene to approve the policy, after officials lodged objections about its value for money.
