Baseball legend Hank Aaron remembered

CA, 28 Jan 2021
Baseball giant Hank Aaron was laid to rest Wednesday as family and friends gathered to pay their respects.

Former MLB commissioner Bud Selig and former president Bill Clinton were among those who spoke at Aaron’s funeral, while former president Jimmy Carter offered his condolences virtually.

The unassuming baseball slugger, who broke Babe Ruth’s supposedly unbreakable record for most home runs in a career, died on Friday. He was 86.

Aaron joined the Atlanta Braves management team becoming one of the few African-Americans in a baseball executive position after retiring as a player in 1976 with 755 career home runs. His cause of death was not immediately reported.
