Opponents of the hardline leader of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko are calling for more mass protests later on Sunday. Weekly demonstrations in the capital Minsk have become the focus for the pro-democracy movement. In an attempt to re-assert control, police have arrested hundreds of women, including activist Nina Baginskaya.
