Biden sticks to Kabul deadline despite criticism

President Joe Biden declares he is keeping his Aug. 31 deadline for completing a risky airlift of Americans, allies seeking to escape Taliban-controlled Afghanistan. Biden also asked the DOD and State Department for evacuation contingency plans. (Aug. 24)
