Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala has made history as the first woman and first African to lead the World Trade Organization (WTO). Globalization and multilateralism have been seriously undermined, largely due to former U.S. President Donald Trump, who used tariffs against China and the European Union to advance his "America first" trade agenda.
