Boris Johnson denies confusion over Covid-19 rules in PMQs clash with Starmer

The prime minister insisted the public understood Covid-19 rules and were following them, after Keir Starmer said there was 'widespread confusion' about the patchwork of local restrictions in force across the country. Boris Johnson accused the opposition leader of 'sniping from the sidelines' and challenged him to 'instil some confidence' by showing greater support for the government
