Boris Johnson reveals 'New Deal' spending plan to rebuild Britain

Boris Johnson has stressed he is "not a communist" as he unveiled plans for a "prodigious amount of government intervention" in a major speech today.
The Government will plough £5 billion into schools, roads, hospitals and other infrastructure projects, as the Prime Minister looks to "build, build, build" the country out of the coronavirus-induced recession.
