BTEC results delayed as schools minister says he hopes they will be 'next week'
Telegraph, 20 Aug 2020
The schools minister Nick Gibb has said he hopes BTEC students will get their results next week.
Last night, with less than 24 hours to go until results day, the exam board Pearson told schools not to publish BTEC grades, saying they needed more time to recalculate them.
Nick Gibb alsodefended the model that was initially used to assess this year's exam grades as "fair" but said it was implemented incorrectly.
