RT, 11 Jul 2020
With disturbing echoes of George Floyd’s killing in Minneapolis, footage has emerged of a police officer in New York state KNEELING on man’s neck. In the police bodycam video, Yugeshwar Gaindarpersaud, 31, runs into his back yard when the officer tries to arrest him on suspicion of slashing a neighbor’s car tires.
Police Chief Eric Clifford later defended the officer’s actions, saying Gaindarpersaud was resisting arrest.
