Huawei has publicly announced that it will not make cars but rather become a "Huawei inside" for car manufacturers. What does its first co-branded car with Chinese car maker SOKON look like？ What value add is Huawei providing to those manufactures? In our Rising Star Cities series in Chongqing, Kate Kui spoke to the rotating chairman of SOKON group Mr. Zhang Zhengping, also the second generation of the family business in Chongqing with insights. SOKON is an A-share listed company headquartered in Chongqing with more than 30 years experiences in China's auto sector, while its fully controlled subsidiary company SF Motors has been partnering with Huawei during the past several years to manufacture smart electric vehicles.
