China accuses US of 'political suppression' over TikTok, WeChat ban

Beijing accuses the United States of "suppression" after President Donald Trump ordered sweeping restrictions against Chinese social media giants TikTok and WeChat. It also says Canada should correct its mistakes and bring bilateral relations back on track by releasing Meng Wanzhou when asked about concerns over China-Canada relations after a Canadian citizen was sentenced to death in a Chinese court over drug charges.
