China held a high-profile ceremony on September 27, 2020, to receive the remains of 117 soldiers killed in the Korean war. Wooden coffins containing the remains arrived at Shenyang Taoxian International Airport in the capital of China’s northeastern province of Liaoning after leaving Incheon International Airport in Seoul, South Korea, earlier in the day.
