Chinese peacekeepers carried out a high-risk extraction mission in Sudan after the armed conflict erupted in the country.
A Chinese peacekeeping helicopter unit based in the disputed border area of Abyei was tasked with extracting stranded UN workers and delivering supplies to people staying behind.
