Chinese social media site Weibo suspends K-pop fan accounts, including BTS follower’s page

Chinese social media site Weibo has suspended 22 K-pop fan accounts, including pages supporting South Korean boy band BTS. The move came amid a broader government crackdown on the entertainment industry and fan culture in China, with Beijing concerned about the influence of celebrities and fan clubs.
