Coronavirus: BC facility to produce N95-equivalent masks to avoid another shortage in Canada

A B.C. company is hoping to kick start competition for medical-grade Canadian-made face masks that are essential for health-care workers, in an effort to help the country avoid a second shortage of the much-needed product.

Early in the coronavirus pandemic, medical-grade masks were in short supply, with the U.S. president at one point even threatening to cut off Canada's American supply.
