The Canadian government will hold a technical briefing Wednesday to provide an update on the state of the country's vaccine rollout as it continues to grapple with the ongoing coronavirus pandemic.

Prime Minister Justin Trudeau has promised that every Canadian -- nearly 40 million people across 10 provinces and three territories -- who want to be inoculated against COVID-19 will be able to do so by September 2021.

So far, Health Canada has approved four vaccines for use in Canada. These are the Pfizer-BioNTech, Moderna, Oxford-AstraZeneca and Johnson & Johnson vaccines.
