Coronavirus: Manitoba imposes 14-day quarantine as new COVID-19 variant cases surface in Canada

Manitoba is imposing a mandatory 14-day quarantine for anyone who enters the province, as anxiety grows over the more contagious COVID-19 variants.

As Mike Le Couteur reports, pressure is mounting on the federal government to tighten up Canada's border.

The new, more contagious COVID-19 variants are surfacing in numerous provinces across Canada, with multiple cases found at just one long-term care home in Ontario. Some of the cases are also found to have no clear links to travel are found.

As Eric Sorensen explains, researchers fear the variants could get out of control in the country.
