CA, 18 Jul 2020
Ontario Premier Doug Ford is expected to make an announcement Friday and discuss the province’s response to the COVID-19 pandemic, alongside Vic Fedeli, minister of economic development, job creation and trade, and Ross Romano, minister of colleges and universities.
A large swath of Ontario moved into Stage 3 of the provincial government's COVID-19 recovery plan on Friday, allowing restaurants to resume indoor service and for businesses such as bars, gyms and theatres to start welcoming patrons again.
The rules also raise the limits on the size of indoor gatherings to a maximum of 50 people, while as many as 100 people will be allowed to gather outdoors.
