Ontario Premier Doug Ford, joined by Economic Development, Job Creation and Trade Minister Vic Fedeli on Tuesday provided the latest update on COVID-19 and how the province is responding.

Ford outlined on Monday what Stage 3 of reopening the province would look like, allowing more businesses to open their doors, including dine-in restaurants, gyms, bars, live shows, performing arts, movie theatres, and casinos. Team sports and tour and guide services are also among those things that are now able to resume.

Gatherings also increase to 50 indoors and 100 outdoors, with social distancing being maintained outside social bubbles.

The move to the next reopening stage will take place at 12:01 a.m. on Friday, July 17 for 24 of the province's health regions. Ten remaining regions, including Toronto, Hamilton and Windsor-Essex, will remain in Stage 2 for the time being.
