More than 100,000 people have died so far of COVID-19 in France.
For some of the millions who were infected but recovered, the battle against the virus was hard and at times traumatic.
Al Jazeera's Natacha Butler spoke to some people in Paris who accused the government of not doing enough to stop the outbreak from getting worse.
