Coronavirus: Premier Ford announces proposal for 4 new subway lines | FULL

Ontario Premier Doug Ford on Wednesday announced a proposal for four new subway lines that would connect Etobicoke, Mississauga and Pearson International Airport

The premier announced on Tuesday that his government is issuing a request for proposal to advance tunnelling work for Scarborough's subway extension project which he described as " the most ambitious transit project this country has ever seen."

The province reported 125 new COVID-19 cases on Tuesday bringing the total number of cases in the province to 40,870.
