Coronavirus: Should Walmart, other big-box stores make its customers wear masks?
CA, 08 Aug 2020
Walmart Canada has announced that because of the coronavirus pandemic, it is making masks or face coverings mandatory in all stores across the country starting Aug. 12.
A health expert who spoke with Global News, Dr. Gerald Evans, says its clientele might not be open to wearing face masks in the stores. But he says it’s an important move for the retailer because it shows customers it thinks protecting them “and others during a pandemic is even more important than what small amount of profit they're going to lose from people who won't shop there because they won't wear masks.”
