Coronavirus: "Travel Bubble" coming to Atlantic Canada as of July 3

CA, 25 Jun 2020
An Atlantic Canada travel bubble has been confirmed and will begin July 3.

On Wednesday, the Council of Atlantic Premiers announced travel restrictions in Atlantic Canada will be eased as COVID-19 case numbers remain low in each province.

Inter-provincial travel will be allowed to happen between Nova Scotia, New Brunswick, Prince Edward Island and Newfoundland and Labrador without self-isolation.

Dwight Ball, Premier of Newfoundland and Labrador, Blaine Higgs, Premier of New Brunswick, and Stephen McNeil, Premier of Nove Scotia, all commented on the new plan during their press conferences on Wednesday, hailing the news as a positive development for the region and a sign of their progress in containing the spread of COVID-19.
