CA, 29 Jul 2020

He said the pivot would allow Kodak, a one-time photography giant, to produce “as much as 25 per cent of all active ingredients” in generic drugs and would create 360 jobs in Rochester, NY., and in Minneapolis, Minn., in the “initial phase.”

Trump also renewed his praise for the unproven anti-malaria drug hydroxychloroquine, telling reporters “I happen to believe in it” and saying that “many doctors” think it is successful in treating COVID-19. Trump said he’s “read a lot” on the drug and believes It can have an impact in the early stages of the disease.

Trump also denied that he suggested Dr. Anthony Fauci “misled” the U.S. about hydroxychloroquine by retweeting attacks on the infectious disease expert and said he has a “very good relationship” with him.

The president also complained that Fauci’s approval rating is higher than Trump’s despite him working within the administration.
