COVAX, a coronavirus vaccination programme co-led by the World Health Organization, aims to ensure a fair distribution of vaccines worldwide is now at risk of failing. COVAX was created to ensure all countries have access to a safe, effective vaccine. It aims to deliver at least two billion doses of coronavirus shots by the end of 2021. Wealthy nations are now pledging more money to secure the scheme.
