Sky, 29 Sep 2020
One million #coronavirus deaths have now been recorded in the world, with over half of those in North and South America.
In the UK, another 4,044 cases and 13 deaths were recorded in the last 24 hours.
People who has travelled outside the UK in the last few months were more likely to have COVID-19, suggesting that the second wave may have been imported from other parts of Europe.
Cases are doubling every 10 to 12 days - a slower rate than what was predicted by the UK's chief scientific adviser.
