A crocodile measuring over two metres (6.6ft) long bit an elderly woman in Thailand’s Chachoengsao province on June 5, 2022, according to local reports. The 64-year-old was treated at a nearby hospital where she received 26 stitches. Authorities later caught the reptile, which will be sent to a local research centre before being released back to a marsh in central Thailand.
