Four days after Hurricane Ian swept through Cuba protests began over an island-wide blackout. Earlier, it was reported that there was no internet in the country: it was not clear whether this was coordinated by the government to make protests more difficult to organise or the result of the power grid failure. The internet was mostly functioning by Saturday night, and authorities say that electricity was restored to the capital, Havana, on Friday afternoon
