Several people have been killed during riots in Colombia.

Violence erupted in the country's capital city Bogota following the death of a man under police custody.

Earlier in the week a video circulated on social media showing Javier Ordóñez pinned down to pavement by two officers while he is tasered.

Mr Ordóñez repeatedly cries out for help in the clip.

After being taken to a police station, he was then rushed to hospital, where he died.

Citizens burned city buses and attacked police stations in anger at the incident.

Authorities say a thorough investigation will be carried out.
