Eritrean refugees in Tigray are fleeing the camps they have lived in for decades as fighting rages across the northern Ethiopian region, with few believing they will ever return. For many Eritreans who had to escape their home country, Tigray was once regarded as a safe haven, but now camps housing thousands have been caught in the crossfire of hostilities between Tigrayan rebels and the Ethiopian government.
