Leaders at the G20 summit are expected to commit to reducing the time needed to develop COVID-19 vaccines. A draft statement says they support cutting the time from 300 days to 100. The statement is still subject to last-minute changes, but the vaccine commitment is expected to remain. Proposals to achieve the goal include cooperation on trials and involving regulators more closely at an earlier stage.
