Early data suggests reduction in transmission for those who get the jab, says Matt Hancock

Health Secretary Matt Hancock says "we've seen early data that there's a reduction in transmission for those who get the jab".

He told Andrew Marr today announced the government will be offering vaccines to all of those over 50 and in the top nine priority groups by 15th April.

Every person aged over 18 will have been offered a coronavirus vaccination by the end of July, Boris Johnson announced on Saturday night, raising hopes of foreign holidays and the return of outdoor events by August.
