Some officials at the Department of Homeland Security say they expect President Trump to have a lasting impact on U.S. immigration policy, even if he loses the 2020 election. Officials tell CBS News that even if Democratic nominee Joe Biden wins in November, he could face challenges undoing the sweeping changes enacted by the Trump administration over the last four years.
