Erupting volcano spews ash two miles into Japan sky

A volcano erupted blasting ash two miles into the sky on Wednedsay on Japan's main southern island of Kyushu. Officials warned against a risk of large falling rocks and lava flows within a radius of about half a mile around the mountain's crater, but there were no immediate reports of casualties. Mount Aso, a tourist destination, erupted at about 11.43 am local time, ash falls from the mountain in the prefecture of Kumamoto have been showering nearby towns
