EU ponders legal action against Boris Johnson's plan to change withdrawal agreement

Britain and the European Union have held emergency talks over Prime Minister Boris Johnson's plan to undercut parts of the Brexit divorce treaty. It comes after UK Prime Minister decided to change an agreement on Northern Ireland that he struck with the EU last year. Johnson insists the bill is necessary to safeguard the UK's internal market. Critics, however, say it will breach the terms of the Brexit deal. EU diplomats and officials say the bloc could use the Withdrawal Agreement to take legal action against Britain.
