Eve of sentencing Derek Chauvin: What prosecutors and defence are seeking

Derek Chauvin, the former Minneapolis police officer convicted of George Floyd's murder, is set to be sentenced exactly 13 months after he fatally kneed on Floyd's neck for over nine minutes.

Prosecutors are seeking the maximum sentence of 30 years in prison. Chauvin’s defence team is asking for time served and probation.

Jackson Proskow looks at which outcome is more likely as activists vow to keep up the fight for racial justice.
