Facing rising protectionism, global economic downturn and a shrinking international market, China should accelerate "dual circulation," a strategy in which domestic economic circulation plays a leading role while international economic circulation remains supplementary, said Lin Yifu, dean of the Institute of New Structural Economics at Peking University.
