Gustavo Alejandro Girado, a former consultant to Argentina's ministries of economy, foreign affairs and agriculture, says China was targeted in COVID-19 origin tracing because the West is taking aim at what it considers a rival economic power. "All scientific assessments have not been able to prove so far that the virus had its origin in the People's Republic of China," he said in an interview with CGTN host Tian Wei.
