Floods, fires foreshadow more climate extremes in British Columbia's future

From record floods to wildfires, British Columbia has endured an unprecedented year of extreme weather.
Earlier in the summer, the southern part of the province was baked and burned under a deadly heat dome that killed nearly 600 people.
Now it is grappling with catastrophic flooding that effectively cut off the Lower Mainland from the rest of the country.
And as human-caused climate change gets worse, experts believe these events will only get more frequent.
