Football Association put children at risk and had 'significant institutional failings'

A long-awaited report on into child sexual abuse in football has found significant institutional failings on the part of the Football Association.
The review, which has taken four years to complete, investigated abuse between 1970 and 2005 and found the FA did not take issues of child protection seriously until the mid-1990s.
