Force used on George Floyd was 'excessive', police expert says at Chauvin trial

Guardian, 08 Apr 2021
The Los Angeles police sergeant Jody Stiger, a use-of-force expert, told jurors at the trial of the former officer Derek Chauvin: 'My opinion was that the force was excessive,' referring to Chauvin's restraint of George Floyd.
