Despite being hotly-anticipated, so-called "Freedom Day" did not live up to everyone's expectations.
The Telegraph spoke to several members of the public to ask their views on whether July 19 truly delivered the liberation that was promised. Monday was described as "Freedom Day" after the Prime Minister announced that it would spell the end of all legal Covid restrictions.
Among the concerns of those who disagreed are the high levels of coronavirus infections and seemingly contradictory advice to be cautious on the day when restrictions were eased.
