French government estimates up to 1 million jobseekers by 2021

French President Emmanuel Macron gave an interview for Bastille Day, speaking about the coronavirus pandemic and the subsequent economic crisis. According to the French government, there could be up to a million jobseekers by 2021 and Macron unveiled measures to tackle mass unemployment, as FRANCE 24’s Catherine Bennett explains.
