French govt. officials in Lyon for reform of child support system

AFP, 22 Feb 2021
France's Minister of Justice, Éric Dupond-Moretti, and the Minister of Health Olivier V֤éran arrive at a branch of the Family Allowance Fund (CAF) in Lyon. Since the beginning of January, the government has set up a "public alimony service", which enables separated or divorced couples to entrust the family allowance or agricultural social mutual insurance funds (MSA) to an intermediary for the payment of these pensions and aims to limit unpaid alimony, a situation which affects 350,000 separated parents, 85% of whom are mothers.
