Canada’s Major League Baseball team, the Toronto Blue Jays were hit hard today. The federal government rejected a pitch for the Jays to play at home in the midst of COVID-19, despite a proposed baseball bubble designed to help keep players safe. The strike out according to Ottawa is based on the advice by public health officials. Erica Vella has more.
The Ontario government is being criticized for its phase three reopening plan. This is the first weekend gyms, bars and restaurants are buzzing as large portions of Ontario enter phase three reopening. But the association representing doctors in the province are urging the government to re-think part of the plan.
