AFP, 04 Aug 2020
Heavy rains lashed South Korea at the weekend with flooding forcing road closures in parts of Seoul on Monday, and parkways along the Han River submerged. Authorities said Monday six people were dead, nine were missing and more than 1,500 temporarily evacuated from their homes after a deluge swept across the capital and surrounding provinces Sunday, causing flash flooding and landslides in some parts of the country. More rain is forecast in the coming days.
